Hi, I’m Kennedy Roy —a lifelong sports enthusiast turned creative storyteller. My journey into the world of sports began at the age of five with a T-ball bat in hand. Over the years, I explored a variety of sports, including baseball, soccer, basketball, and even a brief stint in high school football. While becoming a collegiate athlete wasn’t in the cards, I quickly discovered my true passion: telling the stories that make sports so captivating.
College was a transformative chapter in my journey. As an undergraduate student at Troy University, I found my voice as a color commentator for ESPN+, bringing games to life with vivid play-by-play and analysis. It was during this time that I fell in love with the art of storytelling—not just from the broadcast booth but also from behind the camera. After graduating, I transitioned to working behind the lens, where I could combine my love of sports with my knack for creating compelling narratives.
Today, I dedicate myself to capturing the essence of sports—whether it’s the exhilaration of a last-second victory, the grit of an athlete overcoming adversity, or the quieter, untold stories that give sports their heart and soul.
When I’m not immersed in the world of sports, you’ll find me experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, running a local half-marathon, or soaking up the energy of a live music concert (I never miss a chance to see my favorite artists perform).
As I finish graduate school at the University of Southern Mississippi, where I have served as a Creative Content Graduate Assistant, I am eager to bring my experience and passion to a full-time role as a content producer. My goal is to create meaningful, engaging content that connects audiences to the heart of sports and its ability to inspire, unite, and empower.
